You're e-mail program will allow you to send and receive electronic mail to people all over the world. For help setting up your e-mail in Eudora, follow the instructions below.
- Open Eudora
- Go to TOOLS menu at the top, and choose OPTIONS.
- A box will appear. Along the left side there are icons to change the information on the right.
- Start at the top and work your way down. There will be many icons that are not necessary to change. Use caution when changing options which you are not familiar.
- Your incoming mail server is pop.mycitycable.com
- Your outgoing mail server is smtp.mycitycable.com
- Your e-mail address is made up of your username followed by @mycitycable.com For example: johndoe@mycitycable.com
- Put the username in exactly as you specified when you signed up for our service.
- It will ask for your password, be sure to put in your password exactly as you specified when you signed up for our service and remember it is CASE SENSITIVE so only capitalize what should be in upper case.
- After you fill in the information on each screen, you should click the OK button.
- You are done! You can compose a new message and send it to your own address to test your account for sending and receiving if you wish. It may take a couple minutes for it to be delivered.
